Jazz Ensemble (not scheduled as a class; this ensemble will meet before school)

The Jazz Ensemble will begin annually in September, meeting on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7:30am. The jazz ensemble will perform the true American art form of jazz. The styles range from big band, swing, blues, bebop, funk, rock and sometimes pop. Scat singing and other jazz vocals will be needed and recruited from the band, chorus and school population. The traditional jazz instrumentation will be utilized.
