The marching band will provide a "society" and "family" to which all band students can belong. It is a place where the student will learn values and standards, where we all can learn to depend on one another in our pursuit of excellence. The marching band will teach responsibility, doing their fair share, and sticking to a common goal for a group not the individual. We hope the participation in the East Jackson Marching Eagle Band will teach us to value people and respect our peers. We will be a competitive marching unit striving for excellence, while representing our school with incredible community pride. A calendar of rehearsals and performances will be provided in the upcoming months.
