Gordon Street Center is a multi-purpose educational facility. We host many district departments/programs in our building such as: County Employee Child Development Center, Mom’s Morning Out, Special Needs Pre-K, Student Support Services, Psychologists, and Information Technology. In addition, JROTC and several other vocational classes for Jackson Comprehensive High School are taught at Gordon Street Center.
County Employee Child Development Center: We are very proud to offer the employees in our county a loving and educational environment for their children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old to call home while their guardians/parents are working. The center is totally self-sufficient and receives no state or county funding. As you enter Gordon Street please know that each staff member truly believes in the philosophy, “doing whatever it takes to get the job done” which is evident by their willingness to assist all those that enter Gordon Street Center. |
