The goal of the Instructional Technology Specialist is to provide resources, support, and professional development to help educators successfully integrate technology into the teaching and learning process. As new technologies evolve, ITS consider the educational and pedagogical possibilities that exist with these new tools and work with teachers to help them take advantage of those possibilities. In addition to technical training, ITS work in collaboration with grade-level, departmental and district-level planning committees to facilitate technology initiatives, co-teach technology enhanced lessons and explore the use of technology in creative ways.
