Braselton Rotary Club Scholarship Program
The Braselton Rotary Club through its Scholarship Fund, is pleased to make Educational Scholarships available to graduating seniors from accredited public high schools and private high schools with a Braselton or Hoschton mailing address.
The scholarship awards are for two scholarships. The club typically awards two scholarships of $1,000 a year ($500 for each of the fall and spring semesters) for up to four years of undergraduate study to attain a bachelor's degree at a four year college or university or up to two years of study to attain an associate's degree at a technical college.
The college or university may be located in or outside the state of Georgia, and must be fully accredited. Recipients are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, community service, and other demonstration of personal character, as well as financial need.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a United States citizen, have a Braselton or Hoschton mailing address, and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4-point scale and must maintain a 2.5 GPA (or equivalent) as a full time college student while receiving scholarship funds. Students will report their grades each semester or term to the Braselton Rotary Club Scholarship Trustees and must agree to attend one Rotary Club meeting per year if requested.
Students may pick up applications in the JCCHS Counseling Office and must be submitted by April 1, 2016.
