Title I Distinguished School
Welcome to Maysville Elementary. Our Mission Statement is "To learn, achieve and grow." We are located at 9270 Highway 82 Spur in the heart of Maysville, Georgia. The school is in close proximity to Hurricane Shoals and Hurricane Shoals Park, thus the nickname "Maysville Hurricanes". As our county grows, we want to reflect the middle and high school themes, so we are now the "Maysville Storming Eagles". The school was established in the mid-1950's by the Jackson County School System. MES currently has about 379 students in grades pre-k to 5. The school has 38 certified teachers and 27 non-certified staff. We believe that MES is the best elementary school anywhere!

Attention Parents of rising 6th graders at EJMS:
EJMS will be implementing a uniform dress code for the 2012-2013
school year. Information concerning clothing and participating stores
will be posted on the EJMS website by June 1st. In addition, there will
be information sent with your child's summer letter from EJMS that you
should be receiving sometime shortly after July 4th.

The Jackson County School System is proud to provide a service to our parents known as the Infinite Campus Portal. With this connection to the district, you will be able to monitor your child's educational progress. The portal will provide you access to current information on attendance, lunch accounts, and report cards. With an IC Parent Portal account, you can also make online payments to your child's lunch account through PaySchools .
